Structural glazing:
safe and tailor-made

Check out our certifications
Windows and gates are placed in frames, whereas structural glazing involves application of an adhesive to the glass. This way of working is mainly used for continuous sections of glass, because it offers a beautiful uninterrupted look. The underlying structure is often hidden from view by black borders printed on the glass panels.

Windbreakers and windbreaks are also regarded as structural glazing. For this type of glazing - also known as glued glass - the preliminary work is crucial, as is degreasing and drying. Structural glazing is chosen for its attractive and modern appearance, especially on yachts. Despite the aesthetic value, safety comes first: we always work according to ISO standards.

A windbreaker, as the name suggests, stops the wind. Aside from aesthetic value, it is important that a windbreak is safe: it must be able to withstand impact.

Case in the spotlight

Refitting damaged structure

When you find out that the structure underlying more than 100 meters of glass walls is tainted, you need to act quickly. This was the case with one of our clients. Within two months, we replaced all the support structures and added new interior work to these walls. Fast and efficient, but above all safe and beautiful again.
