We produce portholes for a variety of applications. For example, portholes can be fitted with storm blinds as well as transparent blinds. For yacht building, we use many highly polished finishes.

Our portholes can be divided into fixed and opening portholes.

SURFACE TREATMENT
Most portholes on ships are fixed portholes. These cannot be opened and are produced from steel, aluminum, or stainless steel. They are mainly used near the waterline.

We also offer opening portholes. Safety is paramount for these: because they are used close to the waterline, they must be able to withstand pressure well. Portholes are produced from steel, aluminum, or stainless steel.

Yacht-quality fire-retardant glazing

Safety always comes first. We always try to provide this in combination with the highest possible aesthetic value.

On one of the beautiful yachts we work on, the request was to produce fire-retardant glazing that exudes class in every way. Gel-filled glass is often used for fire-retardant glazing.

At a specific temperature, this gel forms a shield, protecting the underlying aluminum structure and maintaining its mechanical properties. The gel ensures that fire and smoke remain trapped, and the temperature is insulated. However, this gel makes the glass less attractive.

To combine the quality associated with a yacht with safety, we have come up with a system that allows us to install non-gel-filled fire-retardant glass in an aluminum structure. This system ensures the aluminum remains insulated so that it retains its mechanical properties.
